Work at Home Super Mom
Am I SuperMOM?
As a matter of fact, I think I am. I sit at the end of the day and wonder, how in the heck am I going to get this done. The light bulb goes off, and I realize I do this every day, 24/7, 365 days of the year.
It's really a thankless job. When was the last time someone thanked you because they had clean underwear to put on, had toilet paper in the bathroom, had soap to bathe with, had clean sheets on their bed, had food to eat in the fridge....See, you are getting my point. All the little things we do are not so little if they don't get done.
Let Little Johnny wake up one morning to find there's no food, no clean clothes and you're still in bed telling him to get to school however he can. Screech!!! Back up the truck...Mom has lost her mind....what do we do? Call Dad? No, I forgot men don't take off work because Mom had a meltdown. And most have very little sympathy because they think we do nothing all day anyway.
So, next time someone asks what did you do all day, don't give them a play by play of your day; most are just asking a rhetorical question. Instead, don't do what you do everyday for a couple of days and THEN let them ask. Dad yells, "Honey, do we have anymore deodorant?" No, sweetheart, errands was something I usually do, but I've taken off work the last couple of daysI Then Little Megan wants to know why there's no milk for her cereal, and the dog is whining because there's no water in the bowl, and.....well, you get the picture.
So, yes, we are all SuperMOMS, we just tend to forget it sometimes. Give a SuperMOM a hug today! She will be most grateful!

Just take off a month and go to Florida by yourself. Leave the cell phone at home. You deserve it!!
